Supporters of gay marriage in Minnesota taped blue and orange hearts Monday on the state Capitol steps, creating a path into the building for lawmakers who were expected to send the governor a measure allowing same-sex weddings starting in August.
Mariah Kieffer's insight:
This is awesome! I already posted a story like this last week, becuase I was confused what week was state issues. I honestly didnt think that this would happen. I see Minnesota as being a more conservative state. If the Senate passes it than Govenor Dayton said he would sign it! If it passes Minnesota will be the 12th state to legalize same-sex marriage.
